York University strives to be accessible to all - for more information, visit the York University Accessibility hub:

The Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence - is a fully accessible building. This includes all floors, rooms, washrooms, and showers.

The campus is now accessible via subway, and the building has bike racks to lock up bikes and small mopeds.

To ensure comfort of our guests during the 2018 CSME International Congress, we have arranged the following accommodations for those fasting during the month of Ramadan:

  1. Prayer Space - we have dedicated part of the "Sandbox" on the 2nd floor of the Bergeron Centre for open prayers throughout the day, as well as spaces during our evening events. There is also the Scott Religious Centre located in the Central Square.
  2. Opening Fast (Iftar) - we will provide dates and water on Sunday-Tuesday evening to open your fasts.
  3. Iftar Meals - our caterers are providing limited takeaway meals, approximately +20-30, for those fasting.
